Making disciples that make disciples

The Pascal Family

The McClure Family

Kenya

After 13 years in public schools, both as teachers and Patrick as a principal, the McClures felt called to go to Bundibugyo, Uganda in 2019. Patrick was the Director of Christ School Bundibugyo, and Alexis trained local teachers in literacy and phonics instruction. Four years later, again the McClures followed Christ’s leading to Nairobi, Kenya where Patrick now serves as the Programs Officer for the Association of Christian Schools International - Kenya (ACSI). Through this organization, they are able to work alongside professional Kenyans to train teachers, develop leaders, and help schools grow to become Gospel-centered, authentic Christian schools. The McClure family is sent by the mission organization Serge. For more information or to support the work of improving Christian education for children across Kenya click HERE. Kenya

In the summer of 2020, the Kenya Team transitioned from medical missionary work in Burundi to the AIC Kijabe Hospital in Kenya where they now serve. They have made multiple short-term medical trips and have seen first-hand the value of medical education in underserved areas. They hope to help raise up a generation of well-equipped East African physicians and non-physician anesthetists.

East Asia

We are a young family that is launching to make disciples in East Asia after many years of prayerful preparation! We are partnering with the local church in East Asia to reach students from difficult-to-access countries. This is also our training ground for long-term church planting in other East Asian contexts. The Atcho Family

Claude and Kelsey Atcho were part of Redeemer Bellingham from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, they planted Redeemer in Somerville, MA which is now City on a Hill Somerville. In March 2022 they moved to Virginia to lead and plant Church of the Resurrection in Charlottesville, VA as part of the Anglican Church in North America. Resurrection seeks to be a gospel-shaped community marked by the truth that Christ is risen. Charlottesville is a beautiful and influential city with deep historical and social challenges, both past and present. Resurrection is dedicated to bringing the gospel to the people of Charlottesville in word and deed.

middle east

In early 2014, our family was sent out from Redeemer to the Middle East where we have lived among the local people since. We have a heart to see cascading movements of disciples and churches throughout the Middle East, beginning in our very ethnically and linguistically diverse city. Contact the church to get more information about our ministry or information about how you can join our support team.
